Martie Underwood

Martie Underwood holds a Diploma in Herbal Medicine, an MSc in Transpersonal Psychology, and she completed her PhD in Psychology in 2025. The topic of her PhD research was the sacred plant medicine ibogaine. She also holds certification in PsychoSocial Palliative Care.  She is registered with the South African Traditional and Holistic Wellness Association, she is a professional member of EUROTAS and a professional affiliate of the Galileo Commission. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Global Iboga Therapy Alliance.
