Interested in publishing with JoCE?
We welcome submissions that contribute to ethical thinking and practice in coaching, supervision, leadership, and related professional contexts.
Before submitting, please review:
Author Guidelines, and
Authors must register with the journal prior to submitting. Once registered, you may log in and begin the submission process.
Key Requirements
- Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- Manuscripts must follow JoCE formatting and APA requirements
- Author-identifying information must be removed from the manuscript for blind review
- Word limits and structure must align with the selected manuscript type

Submission Deadline
Submissions must be received by 1 February to be considered for the March–May publication.
Review Process
All submissions are initially reviewed by the editor-in-chief for relevance, fit, and overall quality.
Suitable manuscripts are then sent for double-blind peer review, with the number of reviewers determined according to the submission type.
Typical review time: approximately 4 weeks.
Publication Ethics
JoCE adheres to recognised publication ethics standards, including the principles of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
Authors are responsible for ensuring:
- accuracy and originality of their work
- appropriate citation of sources
- ethical conduct in research and reporting
Plagiarism or unethical publication practices may result in rejection of the manuscript.
